Operation 

Located on 400 acres of rolling countryside in rural Kentwood, Louisiana, Jarrell Bros. Dairy- a division of Hunnington Farms, operates a double seven milking barn. Fourteen cows are milked in each rotation with 150-200 cows being milked twice daily, along with milking, cleaning the barn, mixing feed, and maintaining pastures.

Our dairy operation includes Holstein, Jersey and Holstein Jersey crosses. The cattle are kept primarily on grazing land with hay at all times and are fed twice daily at milking's.
 

At any given time, we have on hand dairy cattle and calves for sale. Sale cattle will range from small calves, open heifers, milking cattle as well as breeding bulls or steers.

*Please Note- All milking dairy cattle are sold out of the parlor. You are welcome to come hand pick and milk them in person.
